We discussed the topic what is communication process by dissecting its components. First, we analyze the characteristics of the sender. The ability of the sender to make and send effective information is dependent on his values, the circumstances during which the information was formulated as well as his perception of things. The same thing is true with the receiver. The manner by which the information is received will depend on the receiver’s values, the circumstance during which the information was received as well as his perception about the information received. We also look at the information itself. We analyzed it in terms of form and substance as well as for completeness and comprenesibility. Next, we examine the medium used for the transfer of the information. We discussed the potential problems encountered in each of the processes. When we were done, we made a diagram of what is communication process and presented it to class.
